Honda’s 2015 Civic and Fit are receiving awards once again.

Both the 2015 Honda Civic Sedan and 2015 Honda Fit 5-door have been recognized as Top Rated Vehicles by Edmunds.com.

So far this year, eight Honda vehicles in six vehicle categories have received such recognition from Edmunds.com.

The 2015 Civic is essentially the same as the 2014 model while the 2015 Fit is a new generation.

“We’re thrilled to have two more of our core models recognized by Edmunds.com as we continue our progress toward a record sales year for the Honda brand,” said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of the Honda Division. “The Civic and the Fit often represent new buyers’ introductions into the Honda brand, and this recognition from a trusted resource offers reassurance that they’re making the right choice with a Honda.”

The website Edmunds.com’s editors are said to be evaluating about 200 cars each year; they state each vehicle is driven on a standardized road test loop and a test track where instrumented testing in controlled conditions is conducted. Edmunds.com then uses its findings to grade how a car stacks up against competitors in respect to size and price class.

Vehicles that earn an “A” rating receive an Edmunds.com Top Rated Award.
